Quick and Easy Grit Corn Recipes

Simple, yet incredibly delicious corn grits make wonderful dishes. A corn grit consists of three primary components: the hull, the germ, and the inner starch. Traditionally, in the Southern United States, corn grit flour has been used in a variety of dishes that encapsulates the whole kernel.

High-quality cooking grits are naturally gluten-free and have a lower glycemic index, making them ideal for people with celiac disease. Grits contain iron, which protects against iron deficiency, while their fiber content helps improve digestion and satisfies hunger. Take a look at some of the best yet underrated corn grits recipes.
